The CASEM Project

The acronym 'CASEM' stands for Computer-Aided Software Engineering Management. The CASEM project is a qPrise initiative to create a set of tools for managing the software engineering work of an organisation.

Current Status

CASEM is still in the 'concept' stage, encapsulated in an Operational Concept Description document. It is being developed on a part-time basis by qPrise contributors.

We are eager to make CASEM a collaborative effort. If you feel that you have something to contribute to the planning or development, and would like to participate, please contact us on casem@qprise.com.

Release

At this point, our intention is to release CASEM under the GNU Public License (GPL). We intend to use CASEM in our development, consultation and training work. We hope that in releasing CASEM under the GPL, others will be able to benefit from the increased productivity it offers, as well as contribute to it.
